During a new installation, CodeMeter also searches the network for available licenses. If an expired or incorrectly installed license is detected, the CodeMeter service closes without further information. This may appear as if Automation Builder starts and closes immediately.
To restrict the license search to the local machine, proceed as follows.

Open “CodeMeter Control Center”.

Open “CodeMeter WebAdmin” by selecting [WebAdmin].

Select “Configuration Basic Server Search List”.

Select “add new Server”.

Enter "localhost" in the Server's names field.

Select [Add].

Confirm by selecting [Apply].
"localhost" is added to the Server Search List.

Restart the license check.

Additional license servers can be added by entering the IP address or server name.
