AC500-eCo V3 PLCs can be connected to a Pluto programmable safety controller by using a TA5146-CN option board. This allows to exchange non-safe information between the two systems over the CAN bus interface. How this can be configured in Automation Builder and which prerequisites must be met are described in in the ⮫ application example.
