The styles that are listed in CODESYS in the list boxes of different dialogs and editors are all checked for consistency and installed in the Visualization Style Repository. For derived styles, the hierarchy is checked completely and all styles of the hierarchy are installed. The repository is a version control system within the development system.

You can open a style as write-protected from the Visualization Style Repository in the Visualization Style Editor. The “Save” and “Save and Install” commands are not available there for read-only files. However, you can derive it as the basis for a new style or as a copy.
