You can configure a project archive and then save it in the file system or send it directly in an e-mail.
To send, follow the guide below as far as point 9. There you click the “Send” button instead of “Save” to open the default email program from there. A new email is automatically created there with the project archive in the attachment.
Requirement: A project is open.
-
Click “File Project Archive Save/Send Archive”.
The “Project Archive” dialog opens.
-
Select the check box next to each object that is to be saved in the archive.
Due to the know-how protection, CODESYS does not automatically accept libraries, which are unprotected (meaning that they do not as exist as "compiled-library"), into the project archive. If you explicitly select this kind of library in the list of information to be included, then you will receive a respective warning.
-
To add more files to the archive, click “Additional Files”.
The “Additional Files” dialog opens.
-
Click “Add”.
-
Select the files and click “Open”.
The files are added to the list of additional files.
-
Click “OK”.
-
Click “Comment”.
The dialog “Comment” opens.
-
Enter a comment and click “OK”.
-
Click the “Save” button.
-
Select a location and a file name and click “Save”.
The project archive is saved in the file directory.
