Dialog: Project Environment – Compiler version dl-permalink__symbolPermalink

Function: The dialog shows the current compiler version of the project and provides the option of updating it.

Call: “Project  Project Environment” command, “Compiler version” tab

“Current compiler version in project”

Shows the set compiler version for the open project

“Recommended, newest version”

Shows the newest version

“Action”

  • “Do not update”: The last compiler version set in the project is retained.

  • “Update to x.x.x.x”: The newest compiler version is set for the project. A reset to the previous version is no longer possible afterwards.

“Check for updates when loading this project”

_cds_icon_option_activated.png: CODESYS checks for new versions each time the project is opened. If so, then the corresponding update dialog opens automatically.

_cds_icon_option_deactivated.png: The version is not checked. The update dialogs no longer open automatically.

“Set All to Newest”

The compiler version is set to the newest version.
