There are some parameters to control OPC UA server that can be configured by user. The user can control the minimum update rates and the maximum sessions in parallel via OPC UA communication. The user can better control the performance demands of the OPC UA server to respond to the client requests.

FALSE |
Uses device name (customizable in Communication Settings page) instead of type name (e.g. "AC500 PM56xx-2ETH") for identification the PLC from the OPC UA client. |
4840 |
Configures the port used by the OPC UA server. |
min value depending on CPU type |
Defines the minimum sampling rate of the monitored variables (in ms). |
1 |
Configures the resolution of the scheduler of the OPC UA server (in ms). |
max value depending on CPU type |
Maximum possible number of sessions. A session is an online connection of a client. |
10000 |
Maximum possible number of subscriptions per session. |
172800 |
Maximum timeout of sessions. Value in seconds. Default is 2 days (60*60*24*2). If a client sends 0, the timeout will be set to the maximum value. |
There are values and default values of the parameters "Minimum sampling rate" and “Maximum sessions" for the different types of PLCs. After configuration of a value outside the limit for the PLC, a configuration error is displayed, and configuration cannot be downloaded.
