Function: This command opens a dialog box for importing objects from an XML file.

Call: Menu “Project”

Requirement: A project is open.

Dialog box 'Import'

The dialog box lists all objects from the export file that CODESYS can import at this point.

“Currently selected target objects”

Object that is selected in the Device tree

“Insertable items”

Displays all objects of the export file that CODESYS can insert below the selected object.

“Show contents”

Displays the contents of the export file in a tree structure
