You can customize the menu commands of the CODESYS user interface. In a configuration dialog, you can add or remove menus.
Removing menus and commands

Choose the command “Tools Customize”.
The “Customize” dialog box opens. The “Menu” tab is visible.

Select a menu in the menu tree or a command in a menu.

Click “Delete”.
The menu or command is deleted from the menu tree.

Click “OK”.
The dialog box closes and the menu is customized.
Adding menus

Choose the command “Tools Customize”.
The “Customize” dialog box opens. The “Menu” tab is visible.

Scroll to the end of the menu tree.

Select the blank symbol (
).

Click “Add Popup Menu”.
The “Add Popup Menu” dialog box opens.

Type a name for the new menu in the “Default text” field.
If localization is unnecessary, then skip to step 9.

Click “Add Language”.
A drop-down list opens with available languages.

Choose the required language.
The language is added to the list of languages.

Click into the “Text” field and type the language-specific text.

Click “OK”.
The new menu is added at the bottom of the menu tree.

Change the menu order by clicking “Move up” and “Move down”. Click “OK” to close the “Customize” dialog box.
The new menu is displayed only when it contains a command.
Adding commands

Choose the command “Tools Customize”.
The “Customize” dialog box opens. The “Menu” tab is visible.

Expand the branch of the menu where the new command should be added.

Select the blank symbol (
).

Click “Add Command”.
The “Add Command” opens dialog box.
The dialog box lists all commands grouped by category.

Select the command to be added. Click “OK”.
The new command is added to the menu tree.

Change the menu order by clicking “Move up” and “Move down”. Click “Add separator” to add a border between commands. Click
OK
to close the “Customize” dialog box.The new command is now available in the menu.
