The module itself does not save any configuration data. It receives all parameters from the master device of the I/O bus (CPU or communication interface module) when the system is switched on.
If the external power supply voltage via UP/ZP terminals fails, the I/O module loses its configuration data. To reconfigure the module, the entire station must be switched off and on again.
